XLCS Designs Extended Rod Mounting Tool
Add rod-mounted accessories like a follow focus unit or matt box to your camera using this pair of 6″ 15mm Rods with Mounting Tool from XLCS Designs. Compatible with the XLCS cage for the Blackmagic PYXIS 6K camera, these aluminum rods mount directly on the face of the cage, eliminating the weight of a rod bracket and creating a low profile. This set includes a T-handle Allen key and two mounting screws.

This 3/16″ elongated hex tool is offered to assist in mounting out 6″, 4.5″ and 3″ native 15mm rods to the surfaces of our cages. Standard hex wrenches will not provide the reach or torque needed to fully lock the 6″ of 4.5″ rods to the camera.
