Covering up to full-frame size sensors, this longer prime incorporates a redesigned focusing mechanism that enables more precise pulls in the 6.6′ to infinity range. External features include a 95mm front diameter, 0.8 MOD gears, luminous focus marks in feet, and a detachable 1/4″-20 support foot. Internally, 11 rounded iris blades produce smooth bokeh, and multiple seals protect against inclement weather and dust.
To help eliminate aberrations and distortion, the 150mm IRIX telephoto is constructed with four HRI (high refractive index) and three ED (extra-low dispersion) elements. This lens is compatible with the magnetically stacking MMS system for filters and lens shades and has an 86mm front filter thread.
