Designed for cine-style image capture and covering up to full-frame sensors that shoot up to 8K video, the 65mm T1.5 Cine Lens from IRIX incorporates multiple advanced internal and external design features. External features include a 95mm front outer diameter, 0.8 MOD gears, luminous focus marks in feet, and two locations to attach the 1/4″-20 support foot. Internally, the 11-blade iris produces a smooth, rounded bokeh.
A protective nano-coating helps to eliminate aberrations and distortion. The IRIX 65mm T1.5 Cine Lens is constructed for low focus breathing. This lens has 180° of focus ring rotation and 75° of iris rotation and an 86mm front filter thread. It includes the front and rear lens caps.
Cinematic Look
The IRIX Cine 65mm has a wide 43.3mm image circle for full-frame sensors and creates crisp cinematic shots in resolutions up to 8K, while keeping the focus breathing at a minimum. This lens features a fast T1.5 maximum aperture and can be stopped down to T16.

Ideal for interviews and medium to closeup shots of your subject, the IRIX Cine 65mm produces a 105mm-equivalent when using a crop sensor.

Engraved markings on the lens have been filled with UV-reactive paint, so filming in difficult lighting conditions becomes much easier.
All IRIX cinema lenses have very similar dimensions and weight, which enables quick and easy lens changes without the need to change the rest of your setup. The product is equipped with a Magnetic Mounting System (MMS) that lets you connect accessories such as magnetic filters from the Irix Edge lineup or an optional lens hood.

The IRIX Edge MMS filters are made of hardened optical glass (SR) with a multilayer, antireflective nano-coating that makes them easy to clean.
