XLCS Designs LCD Inserts for Blackmagic PYXIS 6K Cages
These LCD Screen inserts are a great way to both protect and get more from the side mounted LCD of the Blackmagic PYXIS 6K–when combined with our Full Metal Jacket and Hollow Point cages. The inserts are injection molded from ABS+PC–which means they are strong, flexible and precision made. All 3 serve different purposes–so pick to your needs or bundle them all together.
All inserts slide easily into place in the frame around the screen, and are held in by friction. However, for added security, the inserts can be “locked” into place with the included 1/4″ screws.

Solid Cover: Protects the screen during transport, storage or when operating the PYXIS and the side screen is not needed (ex. using the EVF).
Transparent Cover: Protects the LCD during active use for when you need to see the LCD screen but wish to keep it shielded from debris or potential impact (such as vehicle mounted work). You can “lock” off the touch screen function of the PYXIS and control the settings with the camera’s buttons and dials.
LCD Sun Hood: Helps keep sun-glare off the LCD during outside use in a heavily lit environment. The screen is tilted slightly up to make viewing from the side easier for the operator or assistant.
